Chesapeake Beach Waterpark misses our guests and all our seasonal employees! Please take our survey, let us know your comfort level for reopening.  

Updated 6/19: We are opening! Due to the capacity restrictions set by Governor Hogan, a resolution was passed on 6/18 by the Town Council of Chesapeake Beach allowing only Town and Calvert County Residents and their guests until the restrictions are lifted. We are told this is temporary, please see the resolution here

I have a Season Pass; how will I be compensated for the days that I am unable to use my pass?

The Town of Chesapeake Beach will not be issuing a discount for Season Passes, due to our delayed opening which resulted from Covid-19. Instead, for the safety of our residents, the Mayor and Council voted and adopted Resolution # R-20-3, allowing the water park to open with limited capacity and for Calvert County residents ONLY and their guests. Season Passes are only offered to Town and County residents. If you are not satisfied with your season pass we will offer you a full refund but are not able to apply any discount to your current pass.

I have purchased a day-pass ticket to the park. What should I do?

If you are a county resident your ticket will continue to be valid through the 2020 season. If the park should remain closed for the 2020 Season, we will honor your ticket for any day during the 2021 Season at the 2020 pricing which you have already paid. For our general admission guests we will be crediting you back for your purchases, we hope to see you later in the season when the restrictions are lifted. 

I have a group event planned at the park during the closure. What should I do?

Contact our Group Sales Rep, groupsales@chesapeakebeachwaterpark.com to re-schedule your event. If there is not a time that your event can be re-scheduled for this season, we can either transfer your deposit to next season and you will get this seasons pricing, or we can refund you.

What are we doing to keep our park safe?

We will continue to follow all MDH, CDC, State and Local guidelines. The safety of our employees and guests are our number one priority.

Updated 5/27:  We want to assure you as our guests and our employees that we are actively keeping updated on recommendations from the CDC, and we urge you to do the same, for your own safety.

Regarding our re-opening date, we are following all federal, state, and local directives, and we will be ready to open as soon as it is safe to do so. We will keep posting updated information on our website, as well as our social media outlets.

When it is time for us to re-open, we promise to keep the health and safety of you as our guests and our employees as our highest priority. We are proud of our community here in Chesapeake Beach, and we are looking forward to opening our gates again. We hope to see you soon!
